4-H Champion Ewe Lamb Prize

The BCPSBA will continue to support our provincial 4-H Fairs with a $50 prize for the Champion Ewe Lamb.  This is a continuation of our support over several years.

4-H Showmanship Prize

For many years the Canadian Sheep Breeders Association has offered a $250 prize to the winner of a draw amongst Showmanship competitors at the Pacific National Exhibition, Ag Expo and the Provincial Winter Fair. The money won goes toward the purchase of a purebred ram or ewe bred by a BCPSBA member.  It is to encourage the improvement of our provincial flock through the introduction of purebred breeding animals.

Watch for these prizes to be listed in those show catalogs.  Any fair needing further information may contact Freda Horton at schoolsidefarm@gmail.com or 604-467-4088.
